The Valley (Favorite #1)A Poem by LeoHitting rock bottom in 2008 was the toughest and darkest moment in my life. I had to see a psychiatrist to calm my anger issues. I then had an epiphany and writing this poem opened new doors for me.The Valley So deep you are Full of thorns and Blain Wherever I turn I find pain No escape but to crane Hard to blame but to inflame No justice no real claim Why I ponder with no game Destiny hoots and I start to gain Gain what when it is all insane I raise my hands and call for The opposite of inhumane All I get is black rain Yet I remain and maintain Resilient and intuitive Derived from serendipity And no really real claim But then I start to gain True anger will not remain As I stroll to the valley of the shadow of death I realize conviction happiness And tamed self still Remain Time after time and years upon years Evolution blasts and causes finally turn into effects Black rain no more remains for the hex is vexed Yet I walk tall heart dead head up and no more in pain Turns out poise self-respect and self-esteem are engraved So that no matter what where and why Stanger is still engaged!
