Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Larry John

you are the absence of air in my lungs,

a cotton ball shoved between teeth.

with a belly of glass, you laugh at me still,

and leave me to rot in this creek.

I unfortunately know all you have written here is exactly true. You captured it so well.
