A New Day

A new day has emerged.

My mind is no longer submerged.

In the craziness of fantasy and hope.

The thoughts of a new beginning have arised.

From a place I didn't know existed.

No longer can I resist it.

What is meant to be will be,

What is not will fly free.

Fantasies disperse like birds from a cage,

No longer a war will I wage.

I will sit back in quiet serenity,

And peacefully await for the door to open.

A path will be clear soon enough.

Until that day I will remain in the shadows.

Never allowing another to take me for granted.

The one who deserves me will get me,

All my love and devotion,

This is one not so crazy notion.

We will be one and so in love.

No one will be able to separate us in anyway,

No matter what crazy things they say.

On that faithful day we will proclaim it to all,

Never again will we worry if we fall.

Because it will be in love with eachother,

Never wanting or needing another.

True love will always prevail.

Until that day I will remain,

In my peaceful serenity until you finally arrive.
