Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Stacy Hessler

Alone in so many ways,
Left to contemplate my life.
Where will my life take me next?
Will it be back to my ex?
Ending my vast solitude,
Hoping to fill that large void.
Praying for the man I have been dreaming for,
Wishing any minute he'll walk through the door.
Wanting him to be by my side from this day,
To stay from that moment to our forever.
Needing nothing more than to be loved wholly.
Not knowing anything but our complete love,
Feeling he was sent to me from up above.
But yet I sit here alone in so many ways,
Wishing for the end of so many lonely days.
I will patiently await his arrival,
Until then alone in my vast solitude.

About
I have been writing poetry since I was about 8 or 9 and could probably fill quite a few books with it all. I would love to have a few books of my poetry published one day. These days I do not have a.. more..
