Me

Me

A Poem by Stacy Hessler

Kiss me like a woman should be kissed.
Love me the way I deserve to be loved.
Hold me the way I need to be held.
Treat me the way I deserve to be treated.
Don't take me for granted any longer,
Only you can make our relationship stronger.
Don't treat me like a carnival prize,
All you have to do is look into my eyes.
And you will see exactly how I feel,
Then maybe you'll believe I'm for real.
Trust me to treat you right,
And to love you all through the night.
But first show me u care,
That you're really sincere.
That I'm not just a fling,
And I will treat you like a king!
But first I have to know,
You have to let your feelings show.
Pull me in for that passionate kiss,
Then watch the night become pure bliss.

Very well placed, hard to relate with, but it was well writen. I like it, and it shows me what needs to be done in that situation. However I have an issue with closeness, and can't see myself doing that, but wanting is different. This is the second poem I read today that tells me what I am missing.

Very well writen, and thank you for sharing.

About
I have been writing poetry since I was about 8 or 9 and could probably fill quite a few books with it all. I would love to have a few books of my poetry published one day. These days I do not have a.. more..
