Christmas

Christmas

A Poem by Kristin

Here it comes again
That wonderful time of year
Red bows and blood to match
White snow and drugs to match
Branches become my limbs,
Blue wrapping paper   to match
My blue skin
That fades in
As I let myself
Suffocate.

The feelings you bear this season: how sorrowing. I can relate. Well spoken.

I've never been a fan of Christmas season. Far too much hustle, bustle, and stress for my liking. I definitely feel suffocated whenever in public during that time. Good work!

You need to start shopping at a different store. One that has a different selection of goods and services. One that turns the ventilation on once in a while so you don't suffocate yourself and make your skin too blue so that you fall, hit your head, bleed blood-red on the snow and then have to go where they fix up such wrecks. I'll season this piece with a little tyme-time; maybe that will perk it up enough so that I don't get too dizzy reading an extra allocation of suffocation. That does it. You're on probation. No more negation just perspiration as you seek the intoxication that is a life well-lived. Go forth and snocker.
