Guilt

Guilt

A Poem by Kristin

I will break you down
        and beat you
Until your mind falls apart
I will watch you suffer
and feel nothing
Don't mind me
I'm just here
Watching your pain
Like no other
But I will break you down
        and beat you
Until your mind falls apart
I will watch you suffer
I will have no remorse
For those who don't deserve it

Guilt, worthless as it seems, serves a pretty decent weapon crafted to inflict severe blows. I feel the indifference of your intellect, not apathy, but more of a feeling striving for retribution. Well done, well penned, well spoken.

An intense amount of emotion in this. Excellent work. Very powerful, with wonderful imagery.

Guilt such a useless emotion, yet we all do it, you've pen'd it quite nicely Kristin.

Is this a form of bullying or self-abuse or what?

True but sometimes the author will throw a poor dog a bone. :)

Not much beats as well and thoroughly as guilt does. Guilt eats more than what others can do. Great poem. Great reminder. Spoken truth.
nice job!
