Ah, laughter! Where would humanity be without it? I can see how that would make one feel full rather than the knowledge of "a hollow, empty soul."
Brilliant. The last two lines set the rest off perfectly.
Ignorance is bliss, and in some ways, it truly is. "Knowledge is man made," and I find most of that 'wisdom' to be confined within the borders of organized religion.
this is great, so pure and so true. Very nice way of bringing your message, I also like the use of italics.. It has a very strong impact. Don't we all wish to remain childlike, only thing is that society doesn't allow us any more.. Great poem!
Oh, this is a sad place to be. I hear you. I understand, at least from my perspective; there's probably an overlap. As writing it's clear and searing. As a strategy it's workable but harsh. It may not be as bad as it seems. But, you probably don't want advice; just acknowledgement, right? Good poem too for what it's worth.

Some people write there because they are interested in writing. Other's write (it seems) to 'emote'; work out issues, that sort of stuff. I suppose we all do in a way else why write? But that's a different train wreck. My comment was an offer of advice in general; either for writing or "other" (a commiseration of sorts or sounding board, if you feel that's apropos). Of course I may have gotten the whole thing wrong and if so, then never mind. :)
