Dance With The Devil

Dance With The Devil

A Poem by Kristin

A dance with the devil
On the ground of fate
Steps falling in precision
Right,Right, Left
Right, Right, Left
A stumble in your dance
A obstacle in your day
Break your rhythm
,and wait to feel
The thunder break
Upon your day
A dance with the devil
It is surely
For it may not be your stumble
That breaks the rhythm
For it to be your fate
To be dented

Very deep and rythmic dance of words . It just seems like dancing with one's own shadow .....

Ambiguous at best; and that makes this all the more exciting to interpret. Whether you actually refer to a dance with a devil, or a dance with a lover, or even a dance with some random situation in which all is hostile, this was all the more enticing. "Dented." That's not a word I see often associated with this concept; most times I see 'unfortunate,' 'unlucky,' or perhaps even 'scarred,' but dented is one of the more rarer ones. It shows a certain will to proceed onwards despite a rattling by a dance with a 'devil.' Lovely, enticing, and entertaining. Well done, once more, Kristin.
