So loud I can't hear anything else

Although I've seen silence used countless times in poetry (only half being legible for re-reading and pondering), I haven't seen it quite used as you do. Silence being the world; and you being a ring ignored by the supposed receiver, I admire your proposal.

To me this states that the silence that exists from someone we want to get an answer or indication from, doesn't happen until it is too late, and we have given up and by the time they decide to communicate with us about it..... it is too late and we have moved on in some manner. This is how it resonates with me, anyway. Nice write. and interesting structure usage.

Wisest of all , strongest in the crowd , the one who remains silent in any trying and testing circumstances….


For few it could be an act of cowardice , for others foolishness , and some call it an act of arrogance , …. Let it be a compromise , may be sacrifice , but SILENCE proves all assumptions wrong , always conquers all lost battles as well … no harm trying it ?

SILENCE , an expounder of patience , trust and faith as well , makes one yearn acceptance , introspect each moment of life , anything .., makes one read minds with wit and elan , tries to win defeated souls without any hitches as well ..try to believe it ?

Staying in the corner , let it be darkness , look in the mirror , smile at yourself ,…..
Remember the good times , the past …
Forgive the testing times , the present ….
Look beyond tomorrow , the future ….
SILENCE will help us create everything , calmness ,maturity , beautify the sourroundings as well….once and for all

Understand , everyone is watching you , snubbing you , trying to make you speak , let it be an example in itself , let everyone learn from you , your craft of being in SILENCE will make everyone astounded . may be try to meditate , let HIM see you , talk to you . Be cheerful and positive , even in silence …let others feel too …..let others be too….SILENT…as well … remember the words

Let the eyes , the mind , the body and soul , all learn the artefacts , the language of this beautiful talisman and worthy SILENCE….

Oh how I yearn for the sound of silence sometimes...lol nice irony here, with the ringing of "no noise" and nice emotion, the frustation of endless solitude. Go, dollie, go find somone to silence your, well, silence.. nice write hun

This is quite the interesting little poems. I feel like there will always be some sort of symbol everywhere we go. It will just be there (if only in our minds) to remind us of where we have been and what has happened in our lives. I love the irony of a noisy quiet. Not many people bring it up but sometimes silence can be the most ear-shattering thing in the whole world. Nicely penned! Best regards, Dell
