My Words on Paper Without a Book

My Words on Paper Without a Book

A Poem by Kristin
"

had to write this for school tell me what you think!!

"

A compliment seems small

Sometimes irrelevant

It could make me rise or fall

But this time it was evident

A simple “You’re really good at this!”

Could start the journey of a lifetime

With it I slowly dropped into a world of bliss

Although it was an upward climb

Words on paper

Paper in books

They filled me like vapor

and brought me in with hooks

Now I have my own story

Lets call it stained blank

Its filled with fate’s glory

Story of a fish who fell out of its tank

With a new world to explore

Finding things it doesnt know

Opening door after door

Never knowing what will show

Words on Paper

Paper in books

Lets stain this with craters

and hills and everything we overlook

Lets make this a tale

That might take forever to unveil

stainedblank
