Hind SightA Poem by StacyPerry4-13-2011 [Spoken Word.....but this has a VERY different 3 line type of rhyme going to it, so please enjoy]
Spoken Word; Hind Sight
See my face and take a number as you sit down as well I can't decide what to do with this downed look upon my face, Perhaps I shall take a peek into hell You know that I feel the worlds pain and hold its weight upon my shoulders Amazing that I can do this with broken wrists and a crushed back, The ever loving Martyr that holds onto these emotional boulders Can you tell how much my empathy goes out to everyone yet my dear?? As long as you can feel it then I am doing my job of which is never being paid, This world and these people, even the ones who claim hate upon me are just in fear Something you might not grasp is actually an important part you need to understand For if you don't pay attention to this then it might make you weary of what I am stating, My heart on my sleeve as the blood drips all over & I actually try to lift you up with my hand This person I am is one of pure emotional life and not of rational thought Just amongst the walking robots of these sadden days and nights, You can not hand me that dollar as I am not the one who can be bought Therefore I am human and a loving one no matter what has been done in sin Actions might be things you do not like, but hating ME won't change the past As our past is our hindsight & if you MUST, then hate the ACTIONS, not THEM.
