Beast

Beast

Beast

As I run I begin to slow,

The ways of the night oh how they know,

I look upon a darkened sky,

The full moon hides and I barely sigh,

As it comes out from behind the clouds,

I feel a hunger and I am not proud,

My flesh comes off and is replaced with hair,

I am the beast that you all fear,

So run along and hide out of my site,

As this werewolf is going to feast on something/one tonight.

It's something we can relate to as we do have beast in us. It's just there, and when it's beyond control, it'll come out. Keep writing.

A interesting tale in this poem. The description made the beast come alive. A excellent poem. Thank you.

Good work Stacy. You might want to work on the last line and choose between something and someone. You lose the flow the way it is.
