If u only knew what was in my head,

The demons, monsters and walking dead,

Can you tell that they seep into the waking state??

Oh yes my dear and I can not wait,

Want to exercise these demons in a permanent way,

Want to help me with this, can you stay??

Take my hand and stand tall,

You and I together shall build that wall,

No creature could ever pierce this or come between us,

As our love will slay them as well as our trust.

Yes trust must be earned. When two people fall together with the same goals and dreams. Life will be OK. I like the story and the positive ending to this excellent poem. Thank you.

Thank you to "Rollin" for pointing out that little "I" mishap, it is fixed.

I like the emphasis on the 'us' in the title. And just a question, is it meant to be 'You and I together shall build that wall?' I just felt that there was a word missing?
I love this and I love the rhyme scheme.
