Forgotten Soldier
Amongst the tried and the true,
You've been long forgotten my man in blue
The way that you've served your country I shall not forget,
Let others remember it as well my darling vet
Sadness looms over me as people go about their daily lives,
No one looking back to see what you had to go through and strive
When it comes to winning the battle, you have with class,
Yet you've lost brothers and sisters within this war of such crass
Let us ALL take a moment and bow our heads with a silent prayer;
To our military and our strength may us always know our hearts are with you there.
