I'm not sure at what I should do,
A feeling wells over me of being blue
I tend to look past anything that would trigger the past,
I put on a smile as I am truly happy at last
Yet there is no denying that I shall hold a place in my heart for you,
It's the place that feels empty everyday as your things I look through
My missing loves, it is you that I shall always miss,
Two beautiful girls growing up without me to hug and kiss
There is a time that you might just come back,
For that is where my thoughts lay and the odds may be against me in a stack
So to you my darling girls I say this bit of hope;
I'll celebrate each birthday, milestone and with the help of my love attempt to cope.

Very sad, missing those you love, especially during important dates.

A very sad poem. Missing our children make us weak and lonely. The poem story told of hope and wishes. I hope one day you have the girls to hold and cherish. A very good poem.
