A Marriage Tale
Here and there we tend to stare,
A glance, a look, a common care
Then we move towards the heart,
A good soul seen from the very start
Time moves slow and then we love,
Quickly or slowly as seen up above
Next comes trust, now that's a tough one,
Hard to do yet we manage to get it done
Moving on to happiness of the purest kind,
Someone out there has sent us a sign
If we are lucky then marriage is next,
A proposal of surprise and romance is the best
Then comes the acceptance and the event,
Both dressed to the nines and vows heaven sent
Then the beginning yet again as husband and wife,
A true sign of living in this thing we call life
Perhaps next are children depending what the two decide,
Some may want them and some may not yet it is part of the ride
After that the years go by,
Two people in love, a feeling of "Oh My"
The finale is next oh yes indeed,
The two lovers and mates are all filled with need
A need to be together throughout all Eternity,
Perhaps they perish together, hand in hand......we'd have to see.
