Sanity Needed, Apply Within

9-18-10 [I just got to a computer and am going to post 3 poems in a row, please keep reading everything AFTER this poem. Read the dates in this section]

Decisions of the day,
Come take me away
Make all the confusion and pain,
Run out of my poisoned veins
Help me see clearly to know,
Right from wrong and yes from no
Make sure my mind is cleansed,
Bring inner turmoil to an end
Oh decisions of the day,
Shine light on the path so I may
Take my life into my own hands,
Let me get rid of this codependent way I stand
Guide me to a place,
Safe from harm and full of grace
My inner heart needs to speak loud,
Scream the answer into my soul very proud
Oh decisions of the day,
Help me desperately as I need you more than ever to take all of this confusion away.

I have like 13 different disorders/diseases and this reminds me of "racing thoughts" or thoughts that just constantly hit you and hit you and believe me it can drive you stark mad. Your poetic justice relates to my life quite well from what I have devoured so far. Again a very good write, keep up the honest, good work.

Inner turmoil is always hard to deal with. When we can't find the answers it is frustrating and I know this feeling. Love the way you ended the poem. The flow is a little off but the topic is a great one.
