Selflessness

Selflessness

A Poem by StacyPerry

"
If letting you go meant I had to die,
Then at least we both would not be living this lie
Amazing how such an extreme had to be taken,
At least now I know that when you awaken
There will be no more pain of you seeing my tears,
The last thing you can remember is one of my fears
The fear of losing you killed me each day,
This is why I took my life to make you smile again somehow.....some way.

Very sad. I don't think dying makes anyone smile myself. It's just we think wrongly people will be better off if we were dead.

Love is our biggest test in a life. When are willing to give all. We have felt the real emotion and desire of love. A powerful poem. I like the feel and the emotion of your words. A excellent poem.
