Ending; The RealityA Poem by StacyPerry9-7-10
It ends as quick as it began,
A story of her first true love This one is of a woman, Who had a whirlwind kiss as high as a dove Then she came back down through the years, A sad ending yet somehow right All of her brightly colored fears, They all came true that night The man she was in love with didn't love her back, A story you hear a million times Her heart had been slammed by a truck of a variety named "mac", Unfortunately she didn't want to believe any of the signs This love wasn't as epic as she made herself believe, Her heart is shattered into a billion parts At least the guy was purely relieved, He didn't have to be the one to kill her heart In the end they mutually decided, A friendship would be the only thing left standing Her life wrongs would never be righted, Now she looks at him with pain and despair as her thoughts & heart are still plighted This tale ends as it began, This is where it gets sad The girl that loved her considered soul mate of a man, She is dead inside now and for ME.....well it feels bad. © 2010 StacyPerryFeatured Review
