Didn't See You Come To Bed

Didn't See You Come To Bed

A sadness that flows over my heart,
This story is one that is true
A tale of lovers that have grown apart,
As we go on you'll see these words make me blue
I hold so much respect for the man below,
He is and was my first love from the start
The one who claimed status of "Mate of My Soul",
I thought forever would last longer as we wouldn't part
Times do change as well as situations,
Somethings are just not meant to be
Each stop within this life at different stations,
Well, some people do get off the train it's plain to see
A love that transcends all time and space,
A couple too perfect from the beginning
I gather nothing can break the smile on your face,
Unless it's watching the person toss down that ring
Marriage wouldn't of worked and now I see,
A lot of things that kept us apart
We may live together in harmony,
But the song is ending on the lyrics; "I love you, you're perfect now change even though you still have my heart".

Yes people do grow apart. I believe we have two options. To keep up or fall behind. I know many men who got jealous of their wife success and loss the woman. Better to cheer in victory and cry with in loss. We all grow with the good and bad we learn in our life. A powerful poem. I like the story and the ending. A excellent poem. Thank you.

The ending of relationships creates all sort of problems. It's hard to get past them sometimes.

The ending of a relationship whether it is needed to part way or not it always hurt. An ending always brings a flood of emotions with it.
