Card Game

Card Game

A Poem by StacyPerry
"

9-1-10

"
The love that you hold for me is immense,
There is no more sitting on the fence
I have made a decision that was more than hard,
Leaving behind the last folded card
So as I walk away from the table of the past,
I know that this new card game shall be permanent winnings that will last.

I've heard of life being compared to cards before, but never really in this light. It's very original and I love the execution of this poem! The image of "leaving behind the last folded card" was the one that really stuck with me.
Great job!

I like the use of a card games and love. In cards we will lose more then we will win. But the victories are always more sweet then the losses. A very good poem. Thank you.
