![]() Twisted Kind Of TrustA Poem by StacyPerry![]() 8-15-10![]()
I was looking at you through my empty glass,
When I first met you I saw a nice piece of a*s After a brief introduction we ended up at your place that night, Both of us wore beer goggles for sight After our lustful deadly sin, We did not see each other till morning again Coyote ugly is what they call it, I managed to chew off my arm and only leave the spit, As I crept out of your place and wondered "WHY??" I got back home and my boyfriend and he started to pry "Where were you last night??" is all he could ask, I had no after glow to bask "I had some drinks and went home with someone", The truth was the truth but the rest was not fun "Well, the chick I left with last night just left here", Our honesty was apart of our relationship that others might fear We both went and took a shower together, As we both knew our love would not sever We laid down and held each other tight, We slept through the day and most of the night We loved one another enough to be honest, There is more to this story as we enjoyed our rest The guy that I slept with and the girl that he screwed, Well turned out they weren't so honest and that things brewed They were married unbeknown to us, They weren't as honest and things boiled over in the end due to lack of trust We awoke to the news and how a murder suicide had occurred, We recognized the names as more of the story we heard The anchorman stated that no one knew why, My boyfriend and I looked at each other and we both just sighed Honesty may not be every ones way, but it was for us, It's the only thing that saved our screwed up love & life as we had a twisted kind of trust. © 2010 StacyPerryReviews
