My Insanity

My Insanity

A Poem by StacyPerry

Everyone thinks they know it all,
They know nothing of my fall
Everyone thinks they can tell it better,
They know not even the beginning letter
Everyone thinks they can pick and choose,
They know nothing of my muse
Everyone thinks they can re-write my feelings,
They know nothing and I'll leave them reeling
So take your words and take your knowledge of me,
Drive it deep into your black hole of a heart and leave me to my insanity.

Everybody is insane…to some extent…
Insanity of a person starts healing itself when he comes to know that nobody can understand his insanity that is unique to him….
He is the only psychotherapist….who can heal himself and live happily…
Thereafter …he is sane…
It a very touching theme….you have chosen…
And your lines have a lot of inner meanings…

I agree, no one really at all knows another. That's why they're so surprised when they do something that no one can believe or understand they did. We can only know what we are feeling or what we are going through. Those who love us can give us support and show they love but in the end we all do suffer alone.

Wow...! What an unscrupulous indictment of the human penchant for judgments and second guessing others. I couldn't have said it better myself..! This is a sharp and passionate answer to all that would believe they can know another person, when few of us even know ourselves. Thank you for this. I doubt I will ever feel alone again. You cut away the veils with a sharpened, honed edge......! bravo!

I have felt like this many times in my life. When all I really needed was for someone to listen and they had to give me some kind of crude advise in return. this poem is filled with anger but even deeper is the hurt that has cause the feelings that people think they can tell you how to get over when the only way is to work through it on your own in your own way.

I believe each of us is different. We must solve our own pain and heartache. When I was sad. I kept to my self and allow the pain to go away slow and easy. No-one know what lies in the mind and heart each person. Some people are like brick houses. Nothing can break through. Some people need time and room to breathe. No-one can't re-write our feelings. We must find the place. A poem with common sense wisdom.
