Time Past

Amor animi arbitrio sumitur, non ponitur

I perpetually miss and love,
Someone that isn't named above even though you know who you are
This person who is the light of my night as a the darkest burning star,
Yet I stand by and hold my ground
I watch time fly due to my stubbornness and fear of change,
I should attempt to work on my inner demons and take my time to rearrange
Rearrange my style of living and take on life,
Yet that would mean more headaches and some times strife
It would be worth it though and this time maybe it could last,
Unfortunately I know that you wouldn't take me back as our love was in the past.
