My Troubadour

My Troubadour

A Poem by StacyPerry

I would love to be the one who could tame a shrew like you,
Unfortunately that would include a lot of patience too
I can watch you move from left to right as you pace the room,
Your long hair, those luscious lips are calling me too soon
I try to avoid, I try to ignore,
Yet your hazel eyes spring forth the words "I want more"
There isn't a slight chance that I can pretend you don't exist,
I am magnetized to you as you take me by the wrist
I still try to pull away yet it is an attempt that's very poor,
You've always known how to get at me deep within my core
So let's get in bed, lest one another protest,
As I know you have drawn me here and I followed as you would of guessed
As I smile at you while you touch my body gently, then pull my hair back until I scream for more,
My sire, my king, my lust, my love, my one and only troubadour.

Nicely done, erotic and a bit lustful and romantic too. I enjoyed reading it.

A poem with a very good story. You brought me in and made the story stronger with each line. I like the ending. You can write a very good story of passion and emotion. A outstanding poem.Thank you.

Very nicely done! I really like the passion in this piece. The sense of "I crave you, but don't want you" is really strong and adds to this nicely.

Very erotic, sometimes you really just want to grab someone's attention. You've done it in poetic form here :)
