Annoyance

Annoyance

A Poem by StacyPerry
"

PLEASE do not get me wrong, I love my old man, I am just annoyed at what I walked into about 3 seconds ago. UGH. Damn men and cleaning...

"
You b***h and you moan as you head for the door,
You aren't happy as  I leave and you only want more
You gripe and you whine as I ask you about chores,
You aren't happy I need your help anymore
You plead and you lie as you do your job poor,
You will have to clean this s**t as I am not paid to....wait, there's more;
Deep down inside I can feel it within my core,
Clean the damn house, stop lying it is, quite telling me to do it and we all know you're no kid.......Just get s**t done with ease,
Get it done with class,
Don't make me do it a day later and then I have to bust MY a*s
I'm tired of cleaning up after you,
tired of cleaning after your friends
I can see that this is going to be one way a relationship could end,
Remember I love you but sure as hell not your cleaning skills nor actions!!

I cleaned out the gutters, push mowed the lawn, weeded the flower beds and hoed out the garden. I picked green beans, snapped, washed and froze them. I started a pork roast in the crock pot and did the grocery shopping. I ate a cold bologna sandwich with some BBQ chips for dinner. After that I vacuumed and washed the few dishes in the sink and now I've got a few minutes between loads of laundry to comment on your poem. Tell your old man I said he'd better appreciate having help while there's still help to be had because it's a b***h to have to do everything yourself!

Well you are pissed off and if the words were express in real life. You fix the problem or someone life will be hell. I like this poem. Direct and to the point. A excellent poem.

We all need to listen to each other and help each other if we're going to live together. But its sure good to get all those pent up feelings out, but it the right environment. No one wants to make the situation even worse. Really nice job on this poem.

A rant for sure.
It's not cool to be unappreciated.

Totally feel you on this one. Good stuff. I like that this peom isn't another dramatic one trying to reduce me to tears or anything. :)

I can understand what you're feeling; and you should stop cleaning after him. Seriously, just don't do it-let him lift the finger around the house and see how he likes it.

I love this poem, so strong and the flow (and the rhyming!) is great! :)
