12-21-12A Poem by StacyPerryPeople take this world for Granted and now the world is going to shake us off like flees.
Set the course on auto pilot,
Let's drive to the edge of the world Let's not stand, but just sit, As we peer over the edge and watch things unfurl The emptiness we see as we put the top down is one of blackness in the sky, The stars have dissipated and the world has faded to black, We shouldn't even have to wonder why As this world that once was had a consciences attack, Let's sit and stare in awe of the hole in the sky and the loss of the sun, We can see the darkness for miles Let's never care that we made this run, To the edge of the world as it lies in ruins with each pile As we lay our heads back and hold each others hand, We know what the next step shall be As the end of the world is what we are viewing as well as the end of man, We had that front row seat from human's negligence to Gaia and stupidity. © 2010 StacyPerryFeatured Review
