Till The EndA Poem by StacyPerry
Do you remember when we held hands,
Can you see past the hate you have for me?? Do you remember when you would understand, Can you see past the love you attest to blindly?? Would you care if I fell off the edge of your world, Would you stare blankly as you looked for me?? Would you care if your life then became unfurled, Would you ever come back to your sense of reality?? I can see you across the empty room, You are staring at me with the love that you claim does not exist to this day, You're smile lights the path and I can only assume, You shall always hate to love me through this haze So make sure you hug me one last time, Hold me tight and remember your speech Remember that we both love one another and together we will bind, Every emotion that we've ever had as love seems to be the one to teach The lesson being that no matter how far, You and I will be together threw thick and thin It's as simple as getting into a car, Then I take the drive and we're together again As I walk in the door and you turn to look, The smile I have for you is unmistakable At that moment it is your heart I took, We shall be friends to the end and it is both of our calls. © 2010 StacyPerryFeatured Review
