I can't walk on the egg shells anymore,
The cuts are deep and to the core
No matter how much I love you inside,
You'll have something to say back and I must abide
Being without you was killing me,
I used to be sad in this unknown certainty
Now I simply sit back and stare at the sky,
You hate to love me, I hate to love you......we both now know why.

The brevity of the poem suits the content...it is one of those poems where a point is made and left as it should be without using words not necessary..
I can't walk on the egg shells anymore,
The cuts are deep and to the core
though somehow i feel this line doesn't fit in well...why would walking on egg shells cut deep to the core..i understand poetry is about analogies..metaphors which can b quirky at times but it is a suggestion if you could write something more apt as a comparison.

One fine line, and they are all very proficient in the directional Love Poem, that being a statement to a Lover.
Very well stated and I love your rhythm here.
The last line though... just killed me!

Write on / Right on.
