Letting Go

Broken and bruised is how I pretty much feel,

At times internally nothing seems real

Another day goes by and I seem to fade,

Everything runs together, night into day

Disappearing from reality, at times it is grand,

There are some times we need to let go of the hand

So there are things within life that we should begin to know,

One of them is unfortunate, it is how to let go.

To let go ain't so easy. Old heart is the last to understand. Poem is powerful. The story is very strong. I like the internal battle to understand and the wise ending. Must let go to learn to live again. A excellent poem.
