Loving You, My FriendA Poem by StacyPerrySometimes we just don't forget the people who have changed our lives whether it is for the better or for the worse.
There was a time,
There was a place I saw your smile, Upon your face I think of you for hours on end, You are the one my dearest friend You held me tight and I held you back, Who knew that you would bite and attack I felt your venom and your cruel intentions, Did I forget that I loved you or did I mention How you once upon a time loved me too, How did this happen, why am I blue?? That's right my friend you left me behind, Now you call me names and at erratic times I try to tell you that I love you still, You say "sure you do" and I pick up the quill I write my heart out on a page, Too bad I am not the almighty sage If I were I could tell what you were thinking, Instead when I manage to spend time with you, you are drinking Put the bottle down and listen to me, Together forever, yes it could be!! So I look at you and now concede, Maybe your life I did impede I stated I was sorry and that I do not regret, Loving you my friend is something I will NEVER forget. © 2010 StacyPerryFeatured Review
