Shattered Soul

The one I seek does not seek me,
For they have moved on and I just can't see
How one can be so cold and heartless to the other,
Short term OR long term lover
All I can do is to keep my wounds nursed,
You hurt me with your words and leaving was the curse.

Poem is very sad. I believe hardest thing in love and life is wanting someone and they have no need for you. Poem is strong and to the point. A outstanding short poem.

Sadly this emotion has been felt and is being felt by many who through relationships have lost either theie loved ones or the one they love...
