Three Is Too Much

If you let other people dictate your relationship with someone, then it isn't really two of you.....it is 3.

If we've ever spoken, it'd be to late,

If we've ever held one another it'd be to sate

Our love was one that had one flaw and it was them,

The way they interfered and stuck their nose in

If only it would of been you and me,

If only and not just us three

Now look at us though, now see what occurred,

You are there, I am here and they are smiling....how absurd

We let them take our love and ruin it,

We let them take US and drive us apart, so here we sit

We talk and talk trying to get past the others and stay with ourselves,

So tonight it's you and me, to hell with the others that are ruining us.

Dont know but possible the 3rd one was wise and evidence not clear at this point in time, or as it is too often the case, they just might have been a meddler who needs to feel the control. only you know and time will tell.
