Mom

My Mom is alive still, but the poem flowed out for whatever reason.

As I look upon the sky,

I know where my heart doth lie

It lies within my mind which is in the clouds,

And above this earth

To the woman that held me dear,

Ever since my birth

My mom has been there for me,

She loves me more than I know

So to her I raise a glass,

And give a toast so true

"To you I give my heart,

I love you more and more

You are within my soul,

and shall be forever more"

it's a touching verse....more so because your mom would hear and know how much you appreciate her! we don't quite say it often enough!
