A Muscial Loss

In Memory of Petrus [Peter Steele]. Died April 14, 2010 @ 48.

There came a time when your words slowed down,
I kept playing the old songs and lyrics filled my head
You made Depression, Love and Death seem a bit easier to me,
I needed your lyrics and singing a bit longer unfortunately
There was an Angel that took you away from us all,
Family, Friends and Fans my memory recalls
You are truly missed for well over 20 years you gave us,
More then we ever could ask for my dear son of the Dusk
To me you still hold a candle that stays well lit,
I think that going peacefully was a cause well fit
So I say to you, the man of many talents:

You will be remembered and thought of with your music and rhyme,
The death of you my darling was a very hardened time.
