Stars

The violence we see within this world,
Before our eyes it does unfurl
We dream of a time when we were smiles,
Can't we go back since it's been a while?
Our thoughts of how and why and when,
They'll all drive us mad in the end
So let us look to the stars,
Make a wish and know it's ours
Then look to another with a grin,
Knowing our love is no sin.
