Cleasened

Cleasened

A Poem by StacyPerry

This darkness that surrounds my soul,
Has it set out with a goal?
To take from me any and all,
Meaningful people that I call
I have been washed by my very own blood,
Then rinsed within sin as a beginning mood
I then look up from upon my knees,
Only to view your eyes as the key
A window to your soul or so they say,
"They" are no one now and I shall not obey
I am me and you are you,
And that is the way and what we shall do
Stay separate and stay to ourselves true.
