Rampant

Rampant

A Poem by StacyPerry

The timing and goal are as simple as the thoughts that run rampant through my soul,

I hold dear to me the love that I was able to keep and I hold near to me the distance that you seem to reap,

We used to be close and we used to be true, but that was so long ago and for us now we're through,

The unfortunate side effect of loving is loss, and for you and I both we had seemed to get lost,

It was good while it lasted, so tride and so true,

The love that ran rampant within our hearts flowed from me straight to you.
