I can't fall anymore than I have,

You couldn't catch me no matter how you tried

It's something inside that makes me feel sad,

Every time I look at your picture I begin to cry,

The pain within my heart screams out

A piece of my heart just died,

We can't be together anymore except for in our dreams

So I simply pray for you to close your eyes.

The way this would be embarrassing is that I wrote this back when my friend and I were so close to being together and IRONY: this poem made him turn the other way and leave me.
