Figured?

Figured?

A Poem by StacyPerry

the way i see it you have it figured out,
the dark, the light, the wrong, the right
you never could own up to your own deepest fears,
good to know that I'm not near
perhaps you wanted me too much,
obviously since we're apart it's not enough
you loved and hated me for a long time,
I think we should finish this off with one more rhyme
whether I hate you or love to hate you I merely think,
you should be honest with me, once more in person, so you might have to drink

I understand this poem. Please tell me the truth we want to yell at someone. I like the feel and the internal conversation. i like the movement and the story in your words. Ending is outstanding. Some honest words could free the mind and soul. A excellent poem.

Love the last line! We often face the truth when we are intoxicated! xx
