Amputation Of The Soul

I would lose my very soul,
Every time I look at you
You think you've taken all control,
Even though I 'm the only one who knew
You are a waste of my time with your heart of coal,
Because there are so many things I can do
So since you split me in half and I am not whole,
I'll just say a simple screw you.

The subtle rhymes and acidic tone make a fascinating combination. I like the short and almost abrupt style it was written. It can be a cute break up speech.

Keep Writing. ^___^

The poem is so good. Sometime may time a few days. We will know to walk away and tell them to screw off. A outstanding poem.
