Have you?

Have you ever felt your heart breaking?
Felt it wither in your chest?
Have you ever felt your heart shatter like glass on an unforgiving surface?
Have you ever felt regret?
Regretted trusting? Regretted kissing?
But at the same time knowing you would do it all over again in a heart beat?
That is if your heart ever starts to beat again.
Have you ever loved someone so much it hurt?
But been consumed by jealousy and fear ?
Have you ever wished you could go back in time?
Change the past so you never got hurt?
Have you ever wished for one last kiss?
Ever hated someone to the point it becomes an obsessity that roams your mind?
Have you ever been wrecked with silent sobs knowing they dosent even care about those tears?
Have you ever looked into a mirror to be meeted with dead eyes not even your best fake smile could hide?
Have you ever wished that person did care?
And it wasn't one sided?
Ever wished you could trust again?
But known that you couldn't take this pain again?
Have you?
We all have.
Many a many times.
It hurts.
It bleeds like a cut on your arm.
Those cuts? They heal.
But they scar.
They never let you forget.
And, as much as I would like to, I know I never could.
Forgetting them, would be forgetting a part of yourself.
Have you ever felt like this?
Because I have.

i think, as you have said in your poem, most of the people have been through such feelings..some of them have the ability to live with it, some dont. even more, those who live with it try to hide the real feelings while they are never forgetable..those who cant live with it, try to find love somewhere else, but it is really dtrange, they may make the same mistakes simply because they need to love and to be loved, love can never grow without trust...i loved how you have expressed such a human feeling in such a wonderful way..i have really enjoyed reading this..
