Sometimes love just isn't enough.
Before, I thought this lies.
If you loved someone enough that love would over throw anything.
It would save you. It would help you.
It would be everything you ever needed.
That love, would forever keep two people together.

But that is a fools dream
If noone wants you together, that love as strong as it may seem, can't be nurtured with distance.
Two people can't battle an army.
If people are constantly tearing at your trust, make you question everything, how can you overcome the constant fights that follow?
The stupid, petty fighting that neither of you want but occur anyway?
If fate dosent seem to approve, how can you conquer it?
Maybe your timing is off.
Maybe you could have done it differently.

But at the end of the day, as much as you love eachother.
It just wasn't enough.
Sometimes you need to experience this to know what it truly means.

i love how you write about heartbreaks. most of love stories, unfortunately, lead to it. we get hurt for sometimes, then we forget alll about the pain to start another story as if we love to be hurt...when we are living the love story, we feel all the happiness, we feel the whole world is between our hands but then, time by time, we discover that it was a dream, but it is not like any other dream, it is a dream leading to a real nightmare..
i have really enjoyed reading this poem with all the feelings you have expressed in such a sensitive emotional way..
