You start building this movie inside your head of how things should be but then you know, everything just falls out of place and you realize that maybe this isn't a movie destined for a happy ending. It might just be a comedic horror.

this actually is an interesting topic to be brought up to the world of literature. you could write this in a more colorful way with strong imagery to make the readers feel the effect of your thought. anyway, nice work. keep writing!
