Simply SummerA Poem by Brieold poem
the sky,
so blue. the grass, so green. the countless shades of summer, hide behind every leaf, shooting smells of golden nectar that collect on each dandelion. filling my nostrils with delight. Leaves, bloom around each breeze, sending the sound of waves whistling a tune; maple trees begin to dance with joy as the day comes to an end. as the sun goes down, the night has fallen upon each pink cheek, nesting in their beds, dreaming, dreaming of summer they cry, as the sweet rays of warmth cover their bodies for morning to come. © 2015 BrieAuthor's Note
