Hide and SeekA Poem by Brielong story
Turning the corner,
I see her. She stands awkwardly. I try to pass by without the slightest care, but inside, I began to lose my senses. My heart began to swell, my eyes start to glisten and gleam, on the verge of giving into my tears, I pace myself. I walk into a bathroom stall. I let my emotions take over. I cry silently to myself, in a stall, where she may be only a ways away. My fragile body fits perfectly as I slowly sit on the cold and hardened floor. I had about 25 minutes to have my heart broken once more. Plenty of time i thought. Days upon days upon days, And I'd see her face. emotionless. As if she had forgotten how to feel. I see that blank stare time and time again. anger fills my body knowing she doesn't care. Doesn't care at all. She broke me. She shattered my heart into millions of pieces. But who will pick up the pieces? you? no. No one but myself. Yet I don't think I can. There are too many pieces missing.
