Third Class

Third Class

A Poem by Scout

You looked up at me

eyes of swirly blue

they looked glossy

about to fill with tears

I see the worry

and the fear

We're trapped

and we can not save ourselves

but you do not understand that

You tug at my clothing

and ask what is happening

I stare into your eyes

seeing your innocence

I think of what to say

because the truth will make you cry

so I decided to lie

and tell you everything will be allright

The trust you have in me calms you down

This only makes things worst for me

because I know in an hours time

the both of us will not exsist

Aww its so sad! but so realistic...if tht makes sense..it made me think of 2012 the movie...and the titanic...all the sad things and lies that parents have to tell children to make it seem ok....

About
I love writing and reading. It is the best feeling to sit down and write out your feelings in poetry, or imagine a dream world and write a novel. I can not imagine not writing ever, it is like my oxyg.. more..
