A Poem by Scout
"

my bad job at a poem about a teenage girl who helps some needy people

"

A child

dirty and cold

dying of thirst

feeling no love

A mother

worried for her children

using her body for money

failing at feeding her family

A teacher

watching her students starve

giving only her love

praying for their survival

A teenager

lives in America

has water and food

friends and family

The American teenager

wants to help people in need

feels useless in her easy lving life

with courage journeys to save

A child

smiles now hwen he wakes up

A mother

works at a normal paying job

A teacher

worries no more about her students

The teenager

changed their lives just with friendship

A excellent poem. So many died monthly. The world organization estimate a million a month died from starvation in Africa. What can be done? I was a Soldier in the Bill Clinton Army. I went to Africa two times on water and food missions. The world will spend 80 times on War then for the poor and the sick. A powerful poem. Made me think. Your ending was full of good wisdom.
