To Fall

to fall

Softly the dreams of enchanted stars

Will fall unto the clouds of Mars

 

Chasing each other to the speeds of time

Thinking neither on reason nor rhyme

 

Encouraged by their screaming brother

Sequestered by all encompassing mother.

Burrow deep my fallen child

But stay aloof of the broken wilds

 

Find the way towards light again

Befriend the roots before the end

 

Though it seems there is no trouble

Learn this answer 'neath the rubble.

 

Widely searched and thought ingrained

A priest unknown is sought in vain

 

To find an answer to which there is none

To remember a life that hasn't begun.
